Mindfulness is the art of slowing down and coming back to yourself.
It invites you to notice the present moment with openness, curiosity and compassion — without needing to change anything.
In coaching sessions or wellbeing retreats, mindfulness may be woven in through:
Guided breathing or grounding exercises
Simple meditations (even just a few minutes can be beneficial)
Noticing nature with presence and intention
Informal practices like mindful walking or listening
You don’t need any experience — just a willingness to pause. Mindfulness supports emotional regulation, clarity, and calm. It gives you space to respond rather than react, and helps anchor you during times of change, stress, or uncertainty.
Aromatherapy is a beautiful, natural way to support mood, focus and emotional wellbeing.
As part of my work, I offer the opportunity to come and blend your own bespoke essential oil blends to take home with you, using pure, therapeutic-grade oils combined with natural carrier oils. The blends are for use with self coaching questions and affirmations which I will supply for you. These blends can support:
Sleep and relaxation
Grounding and calm
Focus and uplift
Emotional release and reset
Blending is included in some of our Springwater retreats, or I can host small workshops for you and a group of friends or colleagues at my field (available to book from September 2025). I can blend bespoke oils which can be available to purchase upon request, and this activity can also be added onto a coaching or strengths profiling session. This is a mindful, creative way to reflect on what your body and mind needs. All oils are chosen for quality and safety, with your preferences and sensitivities in mind.
Nature has an extraordinary way of helping us see clearly, feel more grounded, and come back to ourselves.
Many CMS Coaching sessions take place outdoors — whether we’re walking, sitting, or moving mindfully through the landscape. Nature invites openness, creativity and honesty. It helps you get out of your head and into your body. (But as we do live in England and sometimes the weather is not kind, unique undercover options are also available!).
Reduces stress and overwhelm
Boosts clarity, calm and creativity
Supports emotional regulation
Encourages deeper reflection and insight
Helps you feel more alive, connected and present
Coaching sessions and retreats take place in one of Devon’s most beautiful, unspoiled areas — the Exe Valley.
Think rolling hills, peaceful rivers, wildflowers, ancient trees and wide open skies. Whether you’re coming to my field for a 1:1 session, or joining me and Amelia at Springwater Farm which is only a ten minute drive away from the field for a group day, the setting itself becomes part of the experience.
The Exe Valley is a place where you can:
Truly pause and exhale
Feel the rhythm of the natural world
Reconnect with what matters most
Both venues are very special to me, and therefore have limited availability. They are both hidden gems in Devon — tranquil, inspiring, and within easy reach of Exeter, Tiverton, Crediton and surrounding areas. There are many lovely local pubs and even a farm shop if you wish to stay a while and explore the local area.

(Currently completing formal training — not yet available)
EFT (also known as Tapping) is a gentle, non-intrusive, body-based technique that helps calm the nervous system and release emotional blocks.
It involves tapping with your fingertips on specific meridian points while focusing on a feeling, belief, or challenge. It’s particularly helpful for:
Reducing stress, fear, or anxiety
Letting go of limiting beliefs
Soothing emotional overwhelm
Supporting emotional resilience
I am currently halfway through my certified EFT diploma, so I am not yet fully qualified to offer formal EFT sessions. However, I may introduce light-touch techniques within coaching or wellbeing sessions where appropriate. If you're curious, I'm always happy to share what EFT is and how it might help — within ethical boundaries of course!
Horses offer something truly special. Just by being around them, we often slow down, soften, and become more attuned to ourselves.
Equine-assisted coaching and equine facilitated learning, or simply spending reflective time in the presence of horses can support:
Grounding and emotional regulation
Non-verbal awareness and communication
Exploring boundaries, confidence and energy
Deepening presence, calm and clarity
While I have extensive experience with horses and am passionate about their role in personal development, and my ponies do live at my field, equine-supported coaching is not yet formally available while I finalise insurance and logistics. If you’re interested, feel free to get in touch and I’ll keep you updated as this offering evolves.
Please note: there will be no riding involved in any of my equine-related offerings — and there never will be.
The horses are not tools or teaching props — they are sentient beings with their own preferences, needs, and boundaries. Their emotional and physical welfare will always come first.
Because of this, sessions involving horses would be fully led by the animals’ willingness to engage. You may not be able to touch the horses, or the interaction might look different from what you expect — and that’s part of the learning. Respecting the horse's choice will be a central part of the experience.
They are highly sensitive creatures who respond to energy, intention, and authenticity. By allowing them the space to choose how (or whether) to connect, we honour their autonomy — and we often learn far more in the process.
If you're drawn to working around horses, it helps to come with openness, patience, and a willingness to be led by them — rather than to ‘do’ something to or with them.
I thank you for your understanding about this as it is very important to me.
